At some point, Doug Pederson has to get some credit for the job that he’s done with the Philadelphia Eagles. Guys get hurt, unknowns are thrown into important positions, and Philly continues to overachieve. Sure, it seems like he can’t get out of his own way sometimes, but if you can forgive him for the occasional snafu on third down, you might realize the guy can coach.
Sure, Frank Reich obviously did more than what fans sometimes gave him credit for during his time here. Sure, some of Pederson’s in-game decisions are often atrocious, but if being an Eagles fan hasn’t taught you anything else, it should have taught you this.
