The road to get to the NFL has been all but easy for former Notre Dame running back, Josh Adams. Back when he was with the Fighting Irish, Adams was a star in the backfield. Early on during his final season, Adams was doing well enough to get some Heisman looks. Unfortunately, his injury concerns put him in an uphill battle while he attempted to advance in his career.
Last spring, Adams decided to take a gamble and enter the NFL Draft. Seven rounds went by, and he didn’t receive a single call. It was shocking, but it wouldn’t be long before Adams picked up the phone to find out that he had an offer from his hometown team, the Philadelphia Eagles.
