The Philadelphia Eagles take on the Washington Redskins Sunday and they’ll be doing so with a roster totally depleted of confidence and motivation.
However, the possible return of a couple key players could change that.
Wideout Jordan Matthews and running back Ryan Mathews both participated fully in practice Thursday, which is a positive sign that they will be able to suit up against the Redskins.
Both players missed last Sunday’s tilt against the Cincinnati Bengals and their presence was certainly missed. With Ryan Mathews out of the lineup, the Eagles turned to the aerial attack against Cincinnati’s below average defense.
