In the past few months head coach Chip Kelly has really left his mark on the Philadelphia Eagles. Switching up the assistant coaches, team personnel, the defense, and the offense, including the most important piece–the quarterback.
What will come of the new Eagles quarterback Sam Bradford? We know he is a talented athlete that was once a heisman trophy winner, number one overall pick, and rookie of the year. We also know that he’s had significant injuries to his ankle, shoulder, and acl (left acl was torn twice).
By now, it’s been said and written numerous times that Bradford had to endure three different offensive schemes in his first four years in the NFL, he is now reunited with Pat Shurmur in Philadelphia–who greatly aided his successful rookie year, and Chip Kelly runs an uptempo offense that Bradford really excelled with at the University of Oklahoma.
