Last season was filled with plenty of surprises for the Philadelphia Eagles when it came to impact players, and right near the top of the list was Boston Scott, who stepped up on offense with the team dealing with unfortunate injuries at running back.
While Miles Sanders ended the year as the top running back on offense, the argument can be made that without Scott, there’s no way the Eagles would have won the NFC East for the second time in three seasons.
From finishing with 128 yards from scrimmage and a touchdown in Week 13 against the New York Giants to finding the end zone three times a few weeks later against the same team, Scott certainly took advantage of the unexpected playing time late in 2019.
