For a team that was already struggling to deal with the absence of DeSean Jackson, the Philadelphia Eagles received another crushing blow less than two weeks ago when Alshon Jeffery suffered a foot injury against the New York Giants.
On Sunday, Jeffery had Lisfranc surgery to repair the injury, meaning now comes the fun part of the wideout rehabbing as fast as possible to make sure he’s ready to go for the start of the 2020 season.
Coincidentally, the timetable for the Lisfranc injury happens to fall right at the start of the 2020 regular season for Jeffery, although this is always easier said than done.
