Howie Roseman does it again! Over the last two offseasons, Roseman and the Philadelphia Eagles front office have made it very clear that the defensive line is a priority. So when the Eagles released Timmy Jernigan last week to free up cap space, we didn’t have a single worry in our minds about the defensive tackle position weakening. After seeing Haloti Ngata struggle in Jernigan’s presence last season though, it was clear that finding a productive player there would become a priority, and with that, the Eagles have made their first signing.
Since the Jacksonville Jaguars released veteran defensive tackle, Malik Jackson, he was available to sign a new deal on Monday, despite Free Agency not beginning just yet.
