After making the decision to focus on other positions during the first couple rounds of the 2020 NFL Drat, the Philadelphia Eagles finally addressed their need at safety on Saturday by selection Clemson star K’Von Wallace in the fourth round at No. 127.
First off, the Eagles realize that it’s going to seem nearly impossible to fill the void left by Malcolm Jenkins before the veteran joined the New Orleans Saints for a second stint since his leadership was one of a kind.
And while Philadelphia did their best to make the necessary adjustments by switching Jalen Mills to the position along with bringing Rodney McLeod back, since there is some uncertainty beyond the 2020 season, the draft seemed like the perfect opportunity to bring someone else on.
