Philadelphia Eagles fans have reason to be optimistic about Alex Singleton.
It was the worst of times and, well, more of the worst of times. It’s been a long time since Philadelphia Eagles fans have had to endure the mockery 2020’s Birds made of the game that we all love. Truthfully, it was hard not to watch this team take the field every week without thinking of the 1998 squad.
Yes, you’re remembering that correctly. That was Ray Rhodes’ last ride in the City of Brotherly Love, and even though Philly finished the 2020-2021 campaign with a better record (4-11-1 as opposed to 3-13), you can make the argument that Rhodes’ squad was better than the one Doug Pederson and company led in what would be the swan song for so many Eagles coaches.
