In both of Howie Roseman’s tenures as general manager for the Philadelphia Eagles, the “Birds” have aced the second round of the NFL Draft several times. Mychal Kendricks, Vinny Curry, Zach Ertz, Jordan Matthews, Dallas Goedert, and Miles Sanders have all heard their names called on Day 2 of the selection meeting to join Philadelphia’s franchise. Roseman can’t take credit for this because he wasn’t at the helm, but you can’t mention great second-round picks for Philly without bringing up LeSean McCoy and DeSean Jackson. They were Day 2 picks as well.
