Two of the Eagles' best players left practice early on Thursday. Jason Peters departed with a quadriceps injury, and Malcolm Jenkins went to the locker room with a hamstring injury.
The severity of both injuries was not reported.
Peters' injury is notable because the left tackle had lingering injuries throughout last season, and he missed two starts. One of those ailments was with his quadriceps, which he said was related to a back injury. Matt Tobin took Peters' place with the first-team offense on Thursday.
Jenkins has not missed a game since coming to the Eagles in 2014, and he took more snaps than any defensive player during the last two seasons.
