Pederson: I said we'd gather info, never said we wouldn't release Huff

Eagles coach Doug Pederson emphasized Friday that all four members of top management – de facto general manager Howie Roseman, Pederson, team president Don Smolenski and chairman Jeffrey Lurie - made the “collective decision” to release returner/receiver Josh Huff Thursday, a day after Pederson said he envisioned Huff playing this week against the Giants.

“Let’s go back and kind of relive the events; I said we were going to get more information, we were going to make a collective decision, and that’s what we did,” Pederson said, when asked why the Thursday action seemed at odds with perceptions arising from his Wednesday news conference.
