Nobody is pretending that the Eagles offense is a snap of the fingers away from erasing all that ails. Three games in and it's apparent to all that the offense remains a work in progress.
And so that is what the Eagles are doing: Working on improving an offense that has not taken off as hoped. It's a long season. There are many ups and downs. Right now, the offense hopes it is on the uptick after a measure of progress was realized -- good ball security, a strong running game for a half -- in Sunday's 24-17 win over a strong Jets team that features an outstanding defense.
