NFL should consider putting LeSean McCoy on paid leave

It will be interesting to see how the NFL reacts to its latest issues of violence allegedly carried out by two of its high-profile players.

If NFL commissioner Roger Goodell is smart, he would immediately put the hammer down on Buffalo Bills running back LeSean McCoy and Cleveland Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel, if current criminal proceedings against the two continue to move forward.

The adjustments to the league’s Personal Conduct Policy made in Dec. 2014 allows the league to place players on paid leave pending the outcome of league investigations and/or criminal prosecutions regarding allegations of violence.
