Good news and bad news for the Philadelphia Eagles when it comes to the NFL playoff picture.
The good news is they held on to beat the Jacksonville Jaguars to win their fourth straight game and advance to 6-2. After leaving Week 8 as the No. 7 seed, they moved up to the No. 6 seed with the Green Bay Packers losing. Note that the Birds also hold a valuable head-to-head tiebreaker over the Pack after beating them in Week 1.
The bad news is that the Eagles continue to chase the Washington Commanders, who just aren’t losing, for the NFC East lead.
