It’s that GMs are forced into pressure situations by their team owners to make a splash even if it goes against their better judgment. That was the battle Sonny Weaver Jr fought through. The Bills owner Terry Pegula, much like Anthony Molina in the movie, was all excited and ready to draft the QB with all the traits you could ask for.
