NFL Draft Analyst suggests the Eagles could find ‘LeSean McCoy 2.0’ in 2019

One of the saddest days in recent history for the Philadelphia Eagles had to be when Chip Kelly went awol and traded away running back, LeSean McCoy. When the head coach/general manager decided to send McCoy packing for an injury-prone, undersized linebacker, the backfield would never be the same. To this day we’re still not sure what Chip Kelly was thinking, but apparently McCoy’s contract was too problematic for his ‘down season’ in 2014.

In case you need a refresher, McCoy rushed for 1,319 yards, and five touchdowns that season. Since then, not a single running back has exceeded 1,000 yards in a season.
