With the combination of a Philadelphia Eagles win over the Dallas Cowboys and a Washington Commanders loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers, there’s a new leader in the NFC East.
The Eagles currently lead their division by half of a game since they’re 7-2 and the Commanders are 7-3. With these two teams set to play on Thursday night, we’ll soon see if the Birds either build a cushion or surrender the top spot right back to Washington.
Elsewhere around the conference, it looked like the Eagles might get help in their pursuit for a first-round bye.
