Mychal Kendricks pleads guilty to insider trader, could face up to 25 years in prison

The Eagles cut linebacker Mychal Kendricks earlier this offseason after several up-and-down years with the organization, and it appears they missed out on quite the drama.

On Thursday, it was reported that Kendricks pleaded guilty to insider trading charges, and could be facing up to 25 years in prison. He’s accused of participating in a two-year scheme that netted him around $1.2 million.

Kendricks was signed by the Cleveland Browns to a one-year, $2.25 million deal after being waived by Philadelphia, but was cut a mere 12 hours after the charges against him were revealed.
