After rushing for just 11 total yards on 21 rushing attempts in the first two games before sitting out Week 3 with a hamstring injury, DeMarco Murray was looking for a breakout performance against the Redskins. On his first carry, which came late in the first quarter, the veteran running back broke off a 30-yard rush between the tackles. But after that, his production stalled, and he finished the day with 36 yards eight carries to go along with two receptions for 12 yards.
Last season with the Dallas Cowboys, Murray rushed the ball 24.5 times per game en route to an NFL-high 1,845 yards and 13 touchdowns.
