DETROIT – Nobody said this ride was going to be an easy one. The Eagles won the first three games of the 2016 season by double digits and headed into the bye week a breezy 3-0.
It became a whole lot tougher in Game 4 on Sunday as the Eagles lost at Ford Field, 24-23, faltering after taking the lead in the fourth quarter.
Detroit jumped out to a two-touchdown lead in the first half and the Eagles chipped away with three Caleb Sturgis field goals and a Carson Wentz touchdown pass to Josh Huff.
