What a day for Philadelphia Eagles rookie running back Miles Sanders. On the same day that he set the rookie franchise record for all-purpose yards, he made the magic happen by setting another. In the fourth quarter of Philly’s divisional game versus the Washington Redskins, he passed LeSean McCoy‘s rookie rushing mark of 637, giving him the franchise’s record for rushing yards by a rookie.
At the time of this story being published, Sanders was still adding to his total. One day, he’ll be an old man, and he’ll no doubt, tell his grandchildren about Week 15 of his rookie season.
