McGloin Provides More QB Depth For Eagles

The Eagles added another player to the quarterback room on Monday by agreeing to terms with Matt McGloin on a one-year deal.

McGloin spent his first three NFL seasons with the Oakland Raiders, primarily serving as the team’s backup signal-caller. In his career, he has completed 58.1 percent of his passes for 1,868 yards, 11 touchdowns and 11 interceptions.

The Scranton, PA native was originally a walk-on at Penn State. After winning the Nittany Lions’ starting job in 2010, he went on to have a highly successful college career, throwing for 6,390 yards, 46 touchdowns and just 19 interceptions.
