Smith's Setback Forces Eagles to Reshuffle Defensive Depth

Zach Berman and Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Inquirer reported that Smith confirmed the extent of the ailment and stated that he's targeting Week 1 against the Atlanta Falcons to return. Defensive coordinator Bill Davis is frustrated that the linebacker can't build on his recent progress.
