The official snap counts from the Philadelphia Eagles’ 6-0 preseason loss to the New York Jets are in. Let’s take a look and see if we can glean any hints about the final 53-man roster.

Did not play

Observations:

  • None of the Eagles’ top three picks played (Dillard, Sanders, Arcega-Whiteside). The Eagles clearly view them as important pieces for 2019.
  • Cyprien not playing seems to indicate he’s locked up the fourth safety spot.
  • Scandrick not playing makes me think the Eagles might just keep him on the 53-man roster despite the speculation they’ll cut him and then bring him back after Week 1.
