There is no doubt that, through three games, the Eagles look to have found a very good duo of safeties in Malcolm Jenkins and Walter Thurmond.
The Eagles gambled in the offseason when they signed Thurmond and decided to try him out at safety. The gamble has paid off big time and Walter Thurmond has become a ball-hawking safety who is tied for the league lead in interceptions.
We knew how good Jenkins was when he joined the Eagles in 2014. He has continued his excellent play at safety and is even contributing on special teams. The Eagles official Twitter account tweeted out this infographic that gives you a look at Jenkins and Thurmond compared to some of the rest of the league’s safeties.
