LeSean McCoy won't face charges for role in Philly bar brawl

The case is closed for former Eagles running back LeSean McCoy.

A spokesperson for the Pennsylvania Attorney General’s office confirmed to Philly.com that it has dismissed its investigation of a February bar brawl in Old City involving McCoy that left two off-duty Philadelphia police officers hospitalized.

“Solicitor General Bruce Castor made the decision not to supersede the Philadelphia District Attorney Seth Williams’ decision not to press charges,” spokesperson Jeffrey Johnson said.

The attorney general’s office made the decision to review the case at the request of Philadelphia police union president John McNesby, who has been outspoken about McCoy’s involvement in the brawl over a champagne bottle at Recess Lounge.
