Philadelphia Eagles second-year linebacker and former 1st-round pick Marcus Smith suffered a hamstring injury during Thursday's practice, which will sideline him at least 2-3 weeks, per Philly.com.
"I'm glad it wasn't anything major, but it's still something that keeps him out," defensive coordinator Bill Davis told the Philadelphia Inquirer.
"It's disappointing, probably to him more than anybody. He was really taking some growth steps and coming along, and now he's got a setback."
