Lane Johnson is OUT for the Eagles against the Bucs

Despite traveling to Tampa, Eagles right tackle Lane Johnson was unable to clear concussion protocol in time to play in Sundays game against the Buccaneers. The team has officially ruled him out hours prior to kickoff.

Johnson suffered a concussion during the first half against the Saints in Week 3, but he was able to return to practice pretty quickly giving some hope he might be available this week. Turns out, he’ll join A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith and this Bucs game.

Fred Johnson will presumably step in for Lane, just like he did last week.
