Everything feels right for Eagles linebacker Kiko Alonso in Philadelphia. He's eating lunch at the NovaCare Complex on this picture-perfect day in South Philadelphia and his eyes are as blue as the sky and he's feeling the energy.
"It's been an awesome transition, very smooth," Alonso says. "There are so many guys I know here, from the coaches on down, that it's been great. It's exciting to be here."
Alonso came to Philadelphia in the headlines-busting trade announced on March 10 (which leaked to the media several days earlier) that sent running back LeSean McCoy to Buffalo for Alonso, a former Oregon linebacker who enjoyed a fantastic rookie season with the Bills before missing all of the 2014 campaign with a torn ACL.
