What are the Philadelphia Eagles going to do about their backfield situation? Right now, they have four guys under contract heading into the 2019 offseason activities. Those backs happen to be Josh Adams, Wendell Smallwood, Boston Scott, and Donnel Pumphrey. Not exactly an ideal scenario for the Eagles. Hence the reason why everybody is in a panic already.
There’s no possible way the Eagles head into the season with just those four guys on the final roster. The Eagles have to snag a running back in the NFL Draft, or maybe even trade for one.
