Rookie right tackle Halapoulivaati Vaitai has got to be feeling good about things these days. Following the long-awaited suspension of all-pro right tackle Lane Johnson, most figured that they had a pretty good idea about how the Philadelphia Eagles would shuffle the offensive line. Very few of us, in our minds, had actually inserted Vaitai into the lineup at that point. The theory was Allen Barbre would take over duties at right tackle, and Isaac Seumalo would be inserted to the left guard position.
