Josh Sweat is leaving the Philadelphia Eagles in NFL free agency to sign a four-year, $76.4 million contract that includes $41 million guaranteed with the Arizona Cardinals, according to a report from NFL insider Adam Schefter.
Sweat is reunited with former Eagles defensive coordinator and current Cardinals head coach Jonathan Gannon in the desert.
This exit hardly comes as a surprise; no one was really expecting Sweat to be back in Philly next season.
OUTLOOK: Sweat is currently set to be a free agent when the new league year begins on March 12.
