Of the 20 wide receivers the Eagles have drafted since Jeffrey Lurie purchased the team in 1994, Josh Huff left town with fewer receiving yards than all but six of them, only one of whom was selected within 40 picks of where the Eagles took Huff (86th) in 2014.
On one hand, not being Gari Scott counts for something in life. On another, Scott at least left town with a playoff victory to go with his two career catches and 26 career yards. As it happens, that playoff victory, for which he was inactive, came against a team that yesterday welcomed Huff to the fold as a member of its practice squad.
