Jordan Hicks will miss the rest of the season with a torn pectoral injury, the Eagles confirmed Monday. Hicks is going on injured reserve.
Hicks, the standout rookie inside linebacker, suffered the injury in the fourth quarter of Sunday night's 33-27 win over the Dallas Cowboys. He underwent an MRI exam on Monday afternoon. When he saw reporters after the exam, he said he was "feeling better." But the MRI showed that the pectoral muscle was torn.
Hicks has stepped in at inside linebacker and proven he belongs on the field. He returned an interception for a touchdown against the Cowboys.
