After leaving the NFL in 2013, John Moffitt announced he would be returning to the league after a two-year retirement and was promptly released by the Denver Broncos. The guard found a new home, however, as the Philadelphia Eagles announced he signed a one-year contract with the organization on Monday.
Moffitt, 28, spent three years in the NFL, playing in 17 games for the Seattle Seahawks between the 2011-12 seasons and in two games for Denver in the 2013 season.
But he walked away during the 2013 season, telling the Associated Press at the time (via ESPN.
