It will likely be several more days until officials charge LeSean McCoy for his alleged involvement in a bar fight that seriously injured two Philadelphia police officers, but the former Eagles running back remains the talk of the town thanks to some tough comments from Mayor Jim Kenney.
“If he wants to pound our officers and stomp our officers, then he needs to pay the price and answer for his actions,” Kenney told CBS Philadelphia Thursday night. “In addition to punches being thrown, there were some kicks that looked as if they were being leveled and that’s unconscionable and it’s cowardly.
