The Philadelphia Eagles are adding two big names to their Hall of Fame.
It was announced Tuesday that Eagles great Jeremiah Trotter will be a member of the team’s 2016 Hall of Fame class. Along with Trotter, Eagles radio announcer Merrill Reese will be enshrined into Hall of Fame as well.
This honor is well-deserved for both Trotter and Reese. In his 11-year NFL career, Trotter spent three separate stints with the Eagles and became a perfect fit in Defensive Coordinator Jim Johnson‘s aggressive scheme. Trotter, also known as “The Axeman,” spent a total of eight seasons with the Eagles and was selected to play in four Pro Bowls with the Eagles.
