Earlier Thursday, NFL Network reporter Albert Breer published a list of 22 draft prospects that Jerry Jones and the Cowboys have hosted at Valley Ranch. Among that group was six quarterbacks, including all the potential first rounders. Conventional wisdom suggests the 49ers will be taking a hard look at quarterback -- I continue to think that Chip Kelly is the coach who can best utilize/maximize Carson Wentz -- and reports suggest that they will indeed host Wentz and Jared Goff for private workouts before the draft. Same goes for the Browns.
I've heard it mentioned on a few occasions that the Eagles' close evaluation of quarterbacks, particularly the involvement of Jeffrey Lurie, should somehow affect our belief about what they are likely to do on draft day, and that they are a strong candidate to move up and take a quarterback.
