According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, the Eagles are bringing in some help at Tight End in the way of Tyrone Swoopes.
Swoopes was an undrafted free agent in 2017 and was originally a quarterback prospect, before the Seahawks poached him and converted the 6’4, 254 lbs, athlete into a tight end. He spent the next few years on the very edge of the team’s roster bubble.
This past offseason was the first of his career that wasn’t spent in Seattle. Testing the free-agent market, Swoopes had to bide his time with the pandemic throwing a huge curveball.
