After waiving Khalil Tate yesterday, the Eagles announced another pair of roster moves. Two more players have been released by the team amidst training camp preparations.
Trevor Williams
Trevor Williams is the biggest shock here. Many, myself included, had the 26-year old pegged as a darkhorse to win the CB2 role opposite Darius Slay. Signed right at the start of the offseason, the former Charger fell blissfully beneath the radar. At 5’11, 191 lbs, Williams is of a very similar build to Slay (6’0, 190 lbs) and has arguably been in the same echelon as productivity…when healthy.
