Philadelphia Eagles defensive coordinator Billy Davis admitted that his unit is still trying to come together, but injuries are making the process even more difficult.
Injuries to defensive end Brandon Bair, linebacker Mychal Kendricks and cornerback Byron Maxwell, who exited Sunday's game early and forced Davis to move his lineup around and change his game plan for the rest of the game.
“The hard part of the game, three first-quarter injuries are hard to absorb,” Davis said, via ESPN. “You don’t get those bodies back. We had each position group lose a player in the first quarter.
