Coming into the Eagles’ home opener against the Cowboys, the big injury-related story was the the broken foot that is will keep Dallas’ star wideout, Dez Bryant, out of action for the foreseeable future. But with the news that Cowboys left guard Ronald Leary (groin) will also be held out of the Week 2 matchup in Philadelphia, Dallas’ offense will be even more shorthanded.
Leary has started all but one game for Dallas dating back to the 2013 season, and in his place reserve lineman Mackenzie Bernadeau will get the starting nod. The longtime Cowboy, Bernadeau, has started just one game since starting 11 during the 2013 season.
