At the start of the second quarter, the Bears used a 49-yard Alshon Jeffery catch to move to the Eagles’ 5-yard line. Rookie cornerback Jalen Mills, who is seeing increased playing time due to the Leodis McKelvin injury, was beat on the play. The pass set up an eventual 1-yard Jeremy Langford touchdown, allowing Chicago to take the lead. In total, the Bears were able to move 65 yards in six play, taking just 3:44 off the clock.
