Going in, the wide receiver corps here was in flux. The Eagles knew it, and that’s why they took low-risk, good-reward fliers on veterans Chris Givens and Rueben Randle, both of whom were released before the preseason ended. It’s why Howie Roseman traded for Dorial Green-Beckham, a second-round draft pick in 2015, in a deal with Tennessee. It’s why the Eagles added Bryce Treggs to the 53-man roster as the league cut players in early September.
With six games remaining in the regular season, the Eagles are rejiggering the wide receivers once again. They’ve promoted Paul Turner from the practice squad, where he’s been since the start of the year, to the 53-man roster.
