The 20th overall selection in the 1960 NFL Draft, Baughan spent his first six seasons in Philadelphia, earning five Pro Bowl nods during that span. As a rookie, he played a key role on the 1960 NFL Championship team, starting in every game and achieving All-Pro and Pro Bowl honors. Baughan was a nine-time Pro Bowl and a four-time All-Pro selection, totaling 18 interceptions and 10 fumble recoveries during his 12-year career with the Eagles, Rams and Redskins.
