Huff Wins Special Teams Player Of The Week

The Eagles had just fallen behind the Vikings 3-0 on Sunday afternoon, and that’s when Huff stepped up to make perhaps the biggest play of the game, running back the ensuing kickoff 98 yards to put the Eagles on the board for the first time. The return marked the first time in franchise history that the Eagles returned kickoffs for touchdowns in back-to-back weeks, after Wendell Smallwood ran a kick back the week before in Washington.

The award is Huff’s first-career Player of the Week honor. He joins Carson Wentz (Offensive Player of the Week in Week 3 and Offensive Rookie of the Month in September) and Fletcher Cox (Defensive Player of the Month in September) among the list of Eagles to receive hardware this season.
