At the moment, the Eagles are reportedly $9-10 million over the league’s salary cap, which has been set at $177.2 million per club. For the Eagles to remain among the league’s Super Bowl contenders, vice president of football operations Howie Roseman and his staff will have to make some difficult decisions about the roster: Which players will stay; which ones will have to go. If he wants to maintain the collective tone and voice that Jason Kelce established for the franchise a month ago, Roseman should probably hold a press conference that sounds like this:
