There is one fewer head coach vacancy in the NFL. The Tennessee Titans officially hired former Texans defensive coordinator Mike Vrabel on Saturday evening.
This news has some impact on the Philadelphia Eagles. It was previously rumored that Eagles offensive coordinator Frank Reich was a potential candidate for the Titans. Now we know he won’t be hired there.
The Vrabel hire also means there’s really only one true remaining opening in the NFL: the Arizona Cardinals. A number of teams haven’t officially announced their head coach hires but the news has already leaked.
