Undrafted rookie corner Denzel Rice is fighting for his NFL life every day at Phildelphia Eagles training camp and seems to be in the mix for nickel corner with the injury to Jacorey Shepherd.
Rice is a small school prospect coming out of Coastal Carolina but he has prototypical size for the position which we all know is very important for Chip Kelly – just ask Brandon Boykin.
Anyway, Rice has one thing that eagles’ defensive backs have been missing during the Chip Kelly and Billy Davis era here in Philadelphia… a knack of finding the football.
